“I witnessed my first homebirth as a teen. While the mom was in labor, the older siblings and I baked a chocolate cake to celebrate the baby’s birth. This experience shaped my view of birth as a natural and normal part of life, full of joy and celebration.”
I am a Certified Professional Midwife with the North American Registry of Midwives and a Licensed Midwife through the Medical Board of California. I graduated from Nizhoni Institute of Midwifery and am honored to now be a teacher at Nizhoni. In my free time, I enjoy growing plants in my garden, running on the beach, quilting and knitting.
